Huge amount of interest on Beam Software website

Recent publicity with the launch of the new KKnD and Cricket '97 demos has seen a HUGE surge in the number of hits on the Beam web page. Interest in the Cricket '97 Demo has been great, and it is available on many sites on the web. Over the last few days, the KKnD web page is averaging around 800-1000 actual users daily (50,000 hits per day), 75% of whom make their way to the download page.
Next Generation promised at least 11,000 downloads of the KKnD demo in the first 24 hours, when it was 'exclusively' featured on their site last Friday, and over the weekend.
For those that may be interested, from looking at the access logs over the last 24 hours we've thrown together the following list which contains just a few of the publishers/developers accessing our site:
Activision, Boss Game Studios, Dreamscape, EA, Origin, IBM, Microprose, Microsoft, Oracle, RocketScience, SGI, Team 17 and Ocean, amongst many others.
