1st of December, 1997 - Another great cheat
Type 132 on the team selection screen, select Australia and you now have
the ultimate team where every player on the side has 10 points for each one
of their skill categories!
10th of November, 1997 - More cheats.... this time its the night match option
Type 223 on the match summary screen (the screen just before the game starts) and you can play a night match!
You will first need to download the patch v3.0 which enables this cheat.
7th of November, 1997 - Beam International wins at AIMIA awards
Cricket 97 Ashes Tour Edition has won the Best Multimedia / Online Game or Entertainment product of the year at the AIMIA awards.

14th of October, 1997 - Beam Software today released a patch for the Australian release of Cricket 97 Ashes Tour Edition
This patch fixes the following bugs in the AUSTRALIAN release:
- Player names updated, spelling mistakes fixed
- Australian team statistics updated
- World Challenge points table fixed
- Network lockup fixed
- And a few other minor bug fixes.

Press space to pause game then enter the following number ...
321 - Gravity cheat - same as C97 - ball does weird bouncy stuff
131 - Power cheat - same as C97 - batsman can hit lotsa fours, sixes ...
323 - Warp speed - same as C97 - players run around really fast
121 - Duck cheat - same as C97 - displays the duck FMV
111 - Exploding stumps - *NEW* - after having input the code if the batsman gets bowled then his stumps will explode !!
9th of October, 1997 - The Cricket 97 Ashes Tour Edition demo has been updated to reflect the English and Australian teams like in the full version of the game.
22nd of August, 1997 - The Cricket 97 Ashes Tour Edition playable demo will be available for download from this website on the 29th of August.
