Key Management

Andrew Carter has over ten years' experience in the video and computer games industry. Initially as a programmer, he has been responsible for developing over twenty games across all popular platforms.
 His credits include the acclaimed 'Star Wars' (NES). More recently, Andrew has taken up the role of Technical Director.
 Andrew has been with Beam from 1989-1992 and from 1994 onwards.

Rebecca Chapman (B.A. Film & TV; Grad. Dip. Bus.) is General Manager, Multimedia. Following a career in TV and advertising, Rebecca worked extensively in all areas of the music industry both in Australia and overseas. She joined Beam in February 1995.
Rebecca  was Producer for six issues of The Disc, and is now responsible for running Beam's subsidiary company Smarty Pants Publishing.

Russel Comte (D.H Ar-s. H) is Beam's Art Director. He has been in the Computer Entertainment Industry for over 12 years, and in fact was the first artist ever to be hired by the company.
Russel  has recently returned to Beam after spending seven years in the United States, where he worked first for Cinemaware in Los Angeles developing sports titles for 16-bit systems, and then Spectrum Holobyte in San Francisco working on flight simulations, and as Art Director.

David Giles (B.Ed.,M.A.) is the Executive Producer at Beam. David previously worked as an Associate Lecturer at Deakin University where he taught in the Media Studies Department. Before teaching, David worked in the film industry, both in Australia and internationally. He is also a trained secondary school teacher specialising in Literature and Media studies.
 David was the producer on 'The Dame was Loaded', 'Alien Earth' and 'KKND'.

Gordon Lescinsky (B.A., M.A.) is a Technical Director at Beam responsible for 3-D graphics development. Gordon completed a Masters' Degree in Electronic Visualisation from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he developed and programmed algorithms for advanced graphics computers. Gordon has worked as a visualisation programmer for Precision Visuals in Colorado and for Northwestern University Cancer Centre in Chicago. In 1992, he became a Research Associate at the Advanced Computer Graphics Centre of RMIT in Melbourne. He joined Beam in 1994.

Jimmy Tutton (B.Bus.Eco.) is a Producer at Beam, with a background in information technology, finance and the music industry. Jimmy was previously at IBM Australia, where he had both technical and marketing positions. He did extensive training in Multimedia Project Management at IBM's US headquarters and worked in R&D on asynchronous video conferencing and video on demand. Jimmy has produced a number of other children's and educational training multimedia applications for various government and corporate clients. He joined Beam in 1994, and is the Producer responsible for 'NBA Full Court Press', 'Caesars Palace' and 'Grand Prix 500'.
